Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling subscriptions, course enrollments, and other services provided by Schoolabe. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
2. Subscription Cancellations
2.1 Monthly Subscriptions
For monthly subscription plans:
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- You will continue to have access to all subscription features until the end of the paid period
- No refunds are provided for the current billing period once payment has been processed
- To avoid future charges, cancel at least 24 hours before your next billing date
2.2 Annual Subscriptions
For annual subscription plans:
- You may cancel your annual subscription at any time
- If cancelled within 30 days of purchase, you may be eligible for a prorated refund (see Refund Policy)
- After 30 days, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current annual period
- You will retain access to all features until the subscription period expires
2.3 How to Cancel Subscriptions
You can cancel your subscription by:
- Logging into your account at schoolabe.com
- Navigating to Account Settings → Subscriptions
- Clicking "Cancel Subscription" and confirming your cancellation
- Alternatively, contacting our support team at [email protected]
3. Course Enrollment Cancellations
3.1 Individual Course Purchases
For individual course purchases:
- You may cancel your enrollment within 7 days of purchase for a full refund (see Refund Policy)
- After 7 days, course access cannot be cancelled, but you may be eligible for a refund under special circumstances
- Cancellation requests must be submitted through your account or by contacting support
3.2 Live Course Sessions
For live or scheduled course sessions:
- You may cancel your enrollment up to 48 hours before the course start date for a full refund
- Cancellations made 24-48 hours before the start date may be eligible for a 50% refund
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start date are not eligible for refunds
- If Schoolabe cancels a live course, you will receive a full refund or credit
4. Service Cancellations
4.1 Mentorship Programs
For mentorship or coaching services:
- You may cancel your mentorship program with 7 days' written notice
- Refunds are prorated based on unused sessions
- Completed sessions are non-refundable
4.2 Certification Programs
For certification programs:
- Cancellation requests must be submitted before the certification exam date
- Refunds are available if cancelled at least 14 days before the exam
- After the exam date, no cancellations or refunds are available
5. Automatic Renewals
Subscriptions are set to automatically renew at the end of each billing period. To prevent automatic renewal:
- Cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date
- You will receive email reminders 7 days and 1 day before renewal
- If payment fails, your subscription will be suspended until payment is updated
- We will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 times before suspending access
6. Cancellation by Schoolabe
Schoolabe reserves the right to cancel or suspend services in the following circumstances:
- Violation of our Terms of Service
- Non-payment or payment failure
- Fraudulent activity or abuse of services
- Technical issues that prevent service delivery
- Discontinuation of a service or course
If we cancel your service due to our error or discontinuation, you will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of your subscription or purchase.
7. Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- Your access to subscription features will continue until the end of the paid period
- You will no longer be charged for future billing periods
- Your account and learning progress will be retained for 90 days
- After 90 days, your account data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- You may reactivate your subscription at any time by making a new purchase
8. Reinstatement
If you wish to reactivate a cancelled subscription or service, you may do so at any time. Reactivation will be subject to current pricing and terms. If you reactivate within 30 days of cancellation, you may be able to restore your previous learning progress and preferences.
9. Payment Processing
Cancellation does not automatically result in a refund. Refund eligibility is determined by our Refund Policy. If you are eligible for a refund, it will be processed according to the terms outlined in that policy. Please allow 7-10 business days for refund processing.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
