What you will do
This is a full-time Python role for someone with 1–2 years of experience. You are placed on one of the live projects after you join. That project can be a product, a client piece of work, or an internal tool, and it can change.
A normal piece of work is a feature, a bug, or a review. You open a pull request, say what changed, and update that same request when a reviewer comments.
What you hand in
- A pull request
- The branch runs, the change matches the task, and the description says what a teammate should check.
- What you ran
- The command or the case you actually ran, and the result. A guessed result does not count.
- Review replies
- You update the same pull request. You do not open a second one to skip a comment.
Skills
- Python
- You have written Python for about 1–2 years that someone else ran: a job, a contract, or a product with users.
- An existing project
- You can read the project you were given and change it. A one-line fix does not need a new stack.
- Review
- You can explain a change in a few sentences and respond to a comment on that change.
Who can apply
- You have 1–2 years of Python experience. A degree title is not required.
- You can show code that someone other than you has run.
- Full-time, work from home.
What to send
- The application form on this site. It is free, and you need a Schoolabe account.
- A link to Python you wrote, and one sentence on who used it.
- Schoolabe writes back if they want to continue. Pay is in the offer letter, and only if you are accepted.
Free to apply. You need a Schoolabe account. Selection is not guaranteed.
