Which playground
Pick the tool that matches the layout problem. Each one generates CSS you can paste into a stylesheet.
- Box ModelSpacing looks bigger than the width you set
- FlexboxYou need a row, a column, or a wrapping line of items
- CSS GridRows and columns both matter
- Grid BuilderYou want named regions like header, sidebar, and main
- Position & DisplayAn element overlaps, sticks, or leaves the flow
- AnimationYou want a keyframe animation, not a one-off hover
- ColorsYou need a linear-gradient or a palette you can paste
- EffectsYou want frosted glass or a soft extruded card
- FiltersYou want to blur, dim, or recolor an element itself
- TransformsYou want to rotate, scale, or tilt without reflowing the page
- TypographyA paragraph’s size, leading, or tracking feels off
- ResponsiveYou want to check a component at real device widths
- CSS Battle ArenaYou want a short puzzle instead of a property tour
Questions
- What is CSS Studio?
- CSS Studio is a set of free browser playgrounds on Schoolabe. You change Flexbox, Grid, the box model, color, type, animation, and filters with controls, then copy the CSS the preview is using.
- Should I use Flexbox or CSS Grid?
- Use Flexbox when items line up in one direction: a nav, a card row, or a centered stack. Use Grid when rows and columns both matter, like a dashboard. Open the Flexbox playground and the Grid playground separately so each model stays visible.
- Will the CSS I copy work outside Schoolabe?
- Yes. The tools emit standard CSS properties such as flex, grid, margin, padding, filter, transform, and animation. Paste them into a stylesheet. The color tool also shows a Tailwind class, and that line is labeled Tailwind.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Every CSS Studio tool opens without signup. Controls stay in this browser, and you can still copy the CSS into any stylesheet.
