Privacy Policy for HydraMeds

1. Summary

HydraMeds is a local-first wellness app for hydration tracking and medication reminders.

• Your hydration logs, medication details, schedules, streaks, badges, and profile details are stored on your device.
• We do not operate a HydraMeds account system and do not store your health or wellness entries on our own servers.
• Optional Firebase Analytics may collect anonymous usage events to help improve the App.
• Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple, not by us.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

When you use HydraMeds, you may enter or generate data that remains on your device, including:

• Optional profile details (for example name, age bracket, weight)
• Daily hydration goal and hydration logs
• Medication names, dosages, instructions, and reminder schedules
• Dose logs, streaks, points, badges, and preferences
• Reminder settings and related local preferences
• Exported backup files you choose to create and share

This information is used only to provide App features on your device (goals, progress, reminders, insights, and backups).

3. Information We Do Not Collect on Our Servers

We do not collect, upload, or store the following on HydraMeds-operated servers:

• Your name or profile details
• Medication names, dosages, or schedules
• Hydration logs or health-related entries
• Photos, contacts, or precise location for core app features
• Your Apple ID credentials

HydraMeds does not require creating a HydraMeds account.

4. Notifications

HydraMeds uses local notifications scheduled on your device to remind you about hydration and medications.

• Notification content and timing are managed locally on your device.
• We do not use a HydraMeds-operated remote push server to send your reminder schedules.
• You can disable reminders in the App and/or in iOS Settings.

5. Widgets and App Groups

If you add a HydraMeds widget, limited progress information may be shared between the App and the widget extension on your device using an Apple App Group, solely to display your status on the Home Screen or Lock Screen. This data stays on your device.

6. Analytics (Firebase)

HydraMeds may use Google Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate App usage and improve product quality.

What Firebase may receive

• Anonymous or pseudonymous usage events (for example: app opened, water logged, onboarding completed, paywall viewed)
• Device/app metadata (such as OS version, app version, general device type)
• A randomly generated installation identifier

What Firebase does not receive from us as health content

• Medication names, dosages, or schedules
• Hydration log amounts/content you enter as health/wellness records
• Your name or Apple ID

7. Purchases and Subscriptions

HydraMeds offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (Premium Monthly and Premium Yearly) through Apple In-App Purchase.

• Payment is processed by Apple.
• We do not receive your full payment card details.
• Apple may share limited purchase/subscription status with the App so Premium features can be unlocked and restored.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions in: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions

8. Export, Backup, Share, and Delete

• Export / backup: If you use Premium export features, a file may be created on your device. If you share that file (AirDrop, Files, email, etc.), the destination service's privacy practices apply.
• Restore: Importing a backup replaces or merges data on your device according to the App's restore flow.
• Delete all my data: You can delete App data from within HydraMeds (Profile). You can also delete the App, which removes local App data from your device (subject to iOS backup behavior).

9. Children's Privacy

HydraMeds is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on our servers. If you believe a child has provided information inappropriately, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the concern.

10. Medical Disclaimer

HydraMeds is a personal wellness and organization tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical decisions, medication regimens, and hydration needs related to health conditions.

11. Data Security

We design HydraMeds to keep your wellness data local on your device and to limit third-party transmission to analytics and Apple commerce where applicable. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. Please keep your device locked and updated.

12. International Users

HydraMeds is offered through the Apple App Store. If you use the App outside your country of residence, your information (including any analytics events) may be processed in other countries as described by Apple and Google for their services.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
