What you will do
This is the coding role, separate from Python Content. Content writes the explanation. You write Python that runs: a script, a small feature, or a fix on the project you are given.
Projects differ. One week can be a data script, the next a bug in an existing service. You read that project’s code and match it. You do not bring in a new stack for a one-line change.
At about 20 hours a week, a normal week is a handful of small tasks, or one longer task when the cases take more time to get right. You run the code before you send it.
What you hand in
- A program that runs
- The prompt, the code, and the output you actually got. If it fails on an edge case you named, it is not ready.
- The approach in a few lines
- What the program does first, and why. A student should see the idea before they read every line.
- The revision
- A reviewer marks a wrong case or an unclear step. You fix that same program.
Skills
- Python
- You write the program. A description of an algorithm you have not run is not enough.
- Practice problems
- One clear task, a sample input, and the expected output. The task fits on one screen.
- Running code
- You paste the output from a run, not an output you guessed.
Who can apply
- You can write a short Python program and show the output.
- A GitHub project or a few solved problems is enough. A degree title is not required.
- About 20 hours a week, for 3 months, from home.
What to send
- The application form on this site. It is free, and you need a Schoolabe account.
- One program you wrote, with the output from a run.
- Schoolabe writes back if they want to continue. A stipend amount is in the offer letter, and only if you are accepted.
Free to apply. You need a Schoolabe account. Selection is not guaranteed.
