Traily is a personal journaling app designed to help you track moods, notes, tags, and daily reflections.

We built Traily to be privacy-first:

• No account is required to use the app.
• Your journal data is stored on your device.
• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not show third-party ads inside the app.

2. Information You Enter

When you use Traily, you may choose to enter personal information such as:

• Mood check-ins
• Journal notes
• Tags and reflections
• Gratitude entries
• Reminder preferences
• App settings

This information is used only to provide the journaling features inside the app.

3. How Your Data Is Used

Your information is used to:

• Save your journal entries and preferences
• Show patterns, streaks, and summaries inside the app
• Provide optional reminders if you enable notifications
• Protect access to the app if you enable Face ID, Touch ID, or a PIN

We do not use your journal content for advertising.

Your journal data is stored locally on your device unless you explicitly export or share it.

Because your data is stored on your device:

• You control what you enter.
• You control what you delete.
• You control whether you export or share any content.

5. Permissions

Traily may request access to certain device features only when needed:

Notifications

If you enable reminders, the app may send local notifications to remind you to check in.

Face ID / Touch ID / Device Authentication

If you enable app lock, Traily may use device authentication to protect access to your journal.

Health Data

If a version of Traily includes Health integration and you choose to grant permission, the app may read limited health information such as sleep or activity in order to show personal insights inside the app. Health data is used only for in-app features and is not sold.

6. Sharing and Exports

If you choose to export, share, or create a share card from Traily, the content you select may leave the app through Apple sharing features or other apps you choose.

You are responsible for any information you decide to share externally.

7. Third Parties

Traily does not sell your personal information.

Traily does not use your journal entries for third-party advertising.

If future versions of the app use third-party services, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

8. Data Retention

Your information remains on your device until you edit or delete it, or until the app is removed from your device.

If you export your data, copies may remain wherever you save or send them.

9. Children's Privacy

Traily is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page.
