Terms of Use (EULA) for Rollframe

1. Agreement

This End User License Agreement and Terms of Use ("Terms" or "EULA") govern your download, access, and use of Rollframe. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, you also acknowledge that Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (or other App Store terms) may apply in addition to these Terms. In case of conflict regarding Apple's role as distributor, Apple's terms control that relationship.

2. The service

Rollframe provides teleprompter tools, script management, optional AI writing assistance, on-device video recording, and related creator features. Features may change. Some features (including AI and Rollframe Pro) may require an internet connection or a paid subscription. The free plan may display advertisements.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to enter a binding agreement under applicable law. You are responsible for your device, Apple ID, and any activity under your purchases.

4. License grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Rollframe on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for lawful personal or commercial creator use, solely as permitted by the App Store Rules and these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where allowed by law
• Remove proprietary notices or misuse our trademarks
• Use the App to build a competing product through unauthorized scraping or abuse

The App and its content (excluding your scripts and recordings) remain our property or that of our licensors.

5. Subscriptions and payments (Rollframe Pro)

• Some features are limited on the free plan (for example script and AI limits).
• Paid features are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions (for example monthly) through Apple In-App Purchase.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Manage or cancel in: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's refund policies.
• Prices shown in the App Store may vary by region and tax.
• Pro benefits may include unlimited scripts, unlimited AI usage (subject to fair use and abuse prevention), higher recording quality options, and removal of ads, as described in the App at the time of purchase.

6. Advertising

Free users may see advertisements (including banner and interstitial ads) provided through Google AdMob or similar partners. Pro subscribers do not see ads in the App. Ad personalization may depend on your App Tracking Transparency choice. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of scripts, recordings, and other content you create. You are responsible for that content and for having all rights needed to use any material you input (including AI prompts). You grant us a limited license to process content solely as needed to provide features you request (for example sending a prompt to generate a script).

8. AI features disclaimer

AI outputs are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. You must review all AI content before publishing or relying on it. We do not guarantee any particular result, view count, or business outcome. Do not submit sensitive personal data in AI prompts.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive purposes
• Attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer our systems
• Abuse AI or feedback endpoints (spam, scraping, or excessive automated requests)
• Upload or prompt malware, illegal content, or content that violates others' rights
• Interfere with advertising or subscription systems

10. Third-party services

The App may rely on Apple, Google (including Firebase and AdMob), hosting providers, and AI providers (including Groq). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or changes outside our control.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

Rollframe is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us for the App (if any) in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if you paid nothing.

13. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your use of the App, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. Provisions that should survive (for example ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive termination. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription; cancel through Apple ID settings.

15. Changes to the service or Terms

We may update the App or these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise. Courts in India will have jurisdiction, subject to those mandatory rights.
